You’re Hired! Cambridge Based Thales Wins Apprentice Award

ThalesThales is celebrating after receiving a prestigious award recognising them as one of the top 100 companies for apprentices in the country.

As part of cyber security month Cambridgeshire MEP Alex Mayer visited Thales E-Security where she will meet current apprentice Harry Pearson.

Harry explained to the MEP how the company supports apprentices and their success in the 14th annual National Apprenticeship Awards. He is one of two Cambridge apprentice software engineers. As part of his software engineering programme he will learn to develop state-of-the-art technology in the fight against cyber-crime.

Alex Mayer MEP said: “Congratulations to Thales. I think they have cracked the code when it comes to supporting their employees. With people like Harry at the forefront of tackling the increasing problem of cyber-crime I know we are moving in the right direction.”
