Lennon, aged 4, from Forest Academy, Brandon, Suffolk has been chosen as the winner of Euro MP Alex Mayer’s Christmas Card competition.
Alex Mayer MEP will visit Forest Academy in Brandon to congratulate Lennon and present him with her Christmas card.
Over a thousand schoolchildren entered this year’s competition; with pictures showing a range of festive scenes. Lennon won the competition with his drawing of a jolly Father Christmas. The image will now be on the front of the MEP’s Christmas card, which is delivered to local charities and organisations.
The runners-up are Isaac, age 4, from Kempston Rural Primary School, Bedfordshire; Ana, age 6, from Catton Grove Primary School, Norfolk; Kobi, age 10 from the Duke of Bedford Primary, Cambridgeshire  and Kayleigh, age 9, from Cherry Tree Primary, Essex.
Alex Mayer MEP, who picked the winning entry, said: “I’ve had a great time looking though so many colourful entries, in fact my office has turned into a Winter wonderland! It is clear we have some budding artists in East Anglia. Special congratulations to Lennon! What a festive and brilliantly cheerful design.”
