"Brexit Will Make Us Weaker Poorer And More Isolated" MEP Tells Norwich Business Group

Norwich FSBA meeting about Brexit organised by the Federation of Small Businesses took place this Friday 2at the The Forum, Norwich.

The event was chaired by Andew Sinclair from the BBC, with panellists Alex Mayer MEP, Chloe Smith MP, Martin McTague, Policy Director at the Federation of Small Businesses, Tony Bambridge Norfolk Chair for the National Farmers Union and Prof Hussein Kassim University of East Anglia & UK In A Changing Europe think tank.

Ahead of the event Alex Mayer MEP said: “This is a timely debate and I'm pleased to be able to feed back the latest information from Brussels. I haven't changed my mind since the referendum, that ultimately the decision to leave the EU, will leave us weaker, poorer and more isolated. What is now important for business is clarity - on access to the single market and for their staff, as one in five small businesses employ staff from other European countries."
